With food movies, food television channels, food e-zines and of course, food consumption, we look at some of the ways food editors and publicists talk about food. We will meet in the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital’s test kitchen for a tasty, healthy breakfast. 

Speakers include:

Curtrise Garner, writes a Gourmet Groove column for the Michigan Chronicle and a cooking column for the Detroit News. Her Gourmet Groove Radio show has been broadcast to 45 markets with over 2 million listeners. She is author of the book "The New Rules of Etiquette"

 

Patty LaNoue Stearns, author of the “Cherry Home Companion” and contributor to numerous food magazines. She is profiled in the book, "Dining Out: Secrets from America's Leading Critics, Chefs, Restauranteurs" and a member of the Association of Food Journalists.

Bethany Thayer, American Dietetics Association national media spokesperson shares healthy eating tips.

Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is located at 6777 West Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 480322 between Drake and Halsted Roads. The Demonstration Kitchen is located right off of the main lobby on interior street: Market Street.
